Medical education at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is undergoing fundamental changes addressing structural racism in medicine in an effort initially inspired by students. The curriculum will provide racial and socioeconomic context behind the longstanding effects of systemic racism on the health of people of color in training the next generation of physicians.
