NeuWater & Associates, LLC is a company focused on improving population health. Many communities, particularly urban centers, suffer from high concentrations of people with chronic disease and poverty, poor access to healthy food, high concentrations of fast/unhealthy foods and high concentrations of marketing of unhealthy behaviors. Much of the work of NeuWater & Associates, LLC focuses on the social determinants of health and community development.   

Projects Include: 

PATIENT ACTIVATION MEASURES & ENGAGEMENT

Medicaid Reform Project, focusing on individuals who are not engaged with a primary care provider.

TEEN PREGNANCY PREVENTION

Using best practices and collaboration, working to reduce teen pregnancy in five years by 30%.

HEALTHY CORNER STORE INITIATIVE

Community based organizations, government, community stakeholders and businesses, design healthy corner stores project, providing refrigeration and education to store owners and a healthy behaviors curricula and food demonstrations for block clubs and community groups.

FARMERS’ MARKET AT GRIDER

Started in 2009, addressing food desert in the Delavan Grider community in Buffalo, NY with a seasonal market that offers food demonstrations, wellness & fitness activities as well as community events.

RAINFALL PROJECT

Addressing population health in Buffalo, NY through food access, wellness and education.
