This course is open to UB BIO and non-BIO majors, and to non-UB students. Arrangement to take the exams outside the UB campus is possible, if test centers are available.


Enrollment Requirements


Prerequisites: Pre-Requisite: BIO 201 And (BCH 403 Or BIO 305).


Course Description


Basic genetic principles emphasizing the molecular basis of heredity. Structure, replication, and function of the genetic material, regulation of gene expression, and genetic recombination.
