  Course Description
This course focuses on health promotion and disease prevention for individuals and families. Students will apply the nursing process to promote holistic health across the lifespan using evidence to critically examine and identify influences on health and well-being. Students will analyze national health indicators, situational and contextual issues that impact wellness and group functioning that serve as a basis for identifying the needs and disparities in health and wellness.
