Course Description |

 |
In this course, student will examine social issues, social policies, social welfare institutions and service delivery systems in an international setting. Students will work alongside experts within social and human service organizations engaged in micro-mezzo-and macro levels of practice in an international setting. Students will complete a minimum of 480 clock hours, some of which may be spent working within a domestic agency in preparation for the international experience. Students will examine policies theory and research, from local to global, that inform their individualized area of study. Students will apply an evidence-based process to, and integrate a trauma-informed and human rights perspective into, their social work practice. |
