Comments
Students will apply knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics towards the design of fluid-thermal systems. Given design goals and a concept design, students will break complex systems down into sub-systems, develop fluid-thermal models for the sub-systems, then apply optimization schemes to produce an optimized design. It is strongly recommended that students have taken or are taking Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Heat Transfer alongside this course.
