  Course Description
This course covers the classical law of comparative advantage, modern theories of trade (including the Heckscher-Ohlin and specific-factor models of trade), growth and trade, international factor movements, multinational corporations, trade-related international organizations, the effects of trade policies with tariffs, quotas, and other instruments, preferential trading arrangements, and topics in economic integration. It also covers briefly the balance of payments, foreign exchange markets, and the international monetary system.
