  Course Description
Topics in equilibrium areas will include a collection of specialized topics such as renormalization group theory, solution to 2D Ising model, solution to s=1/2 XY chain (Lieb-Schultz-Mattis solution); Bethe ansatz, quantum fluids, 2D systems or similar areas of broad importance; Special topics in non-equilibrium areas may include topics such as Brownian motion and Langevin equation, Fokker-Planck equations, generalized Langevin equation, Topics in nonlinear problems or similar areas of broad importance.
