  Course Description
This course introduces concepts, techniques and methods for working creatively with networked media systems. Topics range from creating online media for the web to working with embedded networked systems and IoT platforms. Workshops organized around client-and server-side technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, node.js, and network APIs as well as peer-to-peer and mesh networking platforms are framed within discourses examining networked media and its various socio-cultural contexts. Students will conceive, design, develop and implement networked media projects that playfully and critically address these contexts. There may be a class fee assessed to your student account.
