Take Note of Prerequisites The primary goal of this course to teach graduate students, who are actively involved in research to understand quantitative and statistical concepts. Specifically, throughout the course, the students will learn fundamental statistical concepts relevant to biological sciences with the ultimate goal of conceptualizing study designs in different subfields of biology. There will be a computational laboratory component where basic statistical analysis on data will be performed using R statistical package. No prior knowledge of R is required. The primary goal of this course to teach graduate students, who are actively involved in research to understand quantitative and statistical concepts. Specifically, throughout the course, the students will learn fundamental statistical concepts relevant to biological sciences with the ultimate goal of conceptualizing study designs in different sub-fields of biology.
