Course Description |
 |
 |
The Undergraduate Supervised Teaching course is an opportunity to gain teaching experience by serving as a teaching assistant for political science courses. Undergraduate teaching assistants (UTAs) will assist the instructor throughout the semester. Duties will include attending all course lectures, holding office hours, creating quiz or exam questions, grading assignments, and providing feedback to the instructor on how the students are doing. UTAs will hold office hours each week and be available to students via email. The instructor will also hold a weekly meeting with the UTA to set the agenda for the week and discuss expectations, and duties. Students must apply for UTA positions with the course instructor. |
