The aim of this course is to introduce micro-/nanofluidics as an interdisciplinary research area. The course will emphasize the fundamental principles involved in low-Reynolds-number fluid mechanics, interfacial phenomena, and mass/charge transfer for pressure-driven and electrically driven motions of various solutions including biofluids, polyelectrolytes, and ions.
