Prerequisites: Pre-Requisite: CEP 522 or LAI 657.


Course Description


This course will develop both conceptual understanding and technical skills in using Rasch measurement to develop instruments for assessing constructs related to learning outcomes, processes and environments. Hands-on computer applications of Winsteps and R will be an essential component of the course. Major course requirements include application of Rasch measurement to critique a published instrument and to develop a prototype instrument.
