Course Description |

This professionalizing seminar is designed to introduce first year doctoral students to doctoral study. In particular, the course has three main goals: 1) To acquaint students with the expectations of doctoral study; 2) To familiarize them with the faculty in the program; and 3) To introduce them to some of the skills needed for doctoral study, including being critical readers and writing literature reviews. |
