  Course Description
This course explores the effects of noise on the auditory system and prevention of acoustic trauma. It includes topics including physiological, morphological, biological impacts of acoustic trauma, interaction of noise and other intrinsic and extrinsic factors, noise monitoring, engineering control of noise, personal protection devices, hearing evaluation, and noise damage compensation. Students are expected to learn how to create a hearing conservation program.
