Conference for Teaching Assistants
The TA Conference, a half-day, virtual event for teaching assistants at UB, takes place each summer in August. This conference is designed to help prepare undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants for success in their instructional roles at UB and beyond.
This event is designed so that TA's can learn about the critical role they play in helping to improve student experience and advance the university’s mission of academic excellence.

Through interactive presentations and discussions, participants gained knowledge on effective teaching practices, learned tips and best practices from other TAs, networked with peers and got connected to instruction-related services and resources. This event is free to UB TA's.
