Professor Sarah Vincent of the Department of Philosophy has received a 2026 Instructional Excellence Award from the Office of Curriculum, Assessment and Teaching Transformation (CATT).
Vincent was recognized with the Excellence in Teaching and Learning Award, which honors faculty members who demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning and success. The award celebrates excellence in teaching, mentorship and instructional leadership across the University at Buffalo.
The 2026 award cycle drew a highly competitive pool of nominees from across the university, reflecting the impact of faculty who advance teaching and learning through innovative and effective educational practices.
