The University at Buffalo Department of Mathematics is pleased to announce that two math majors and three double majors were selected by the College of Arts and Sciences to be college ambassadors for 2015-2016. The program fosters student growth and professional development.

The college ambassabors are Brett Blizzard, Luke Lyle, Arielle Balthazard, Goeffrey Fatin, and Dante Iozzo. Bret and Luke are math majors nominated by Bernard Badzioch, Director of Undergraduate Studies. Arielle, Goeffrey, and Dante are double majors nominated by other departments.

Ambassadors serve as liaisons between the CAS Dean’s Office and the student body. They provide insights and information to prospective students and their parents at events such as Open House. Throughout the year, Ambassadors receive unique professional development opportunities, including leadership training, access to community engagement activities, and networking events with faculty and alumni.
