Dr. David M. Mark Of East Amherst, entered into rest on September 24, 2022 after a brief illness. Beloved partner of 15 years to Dr. Jeri Jaeger; devoted stepfather of Anna (Lou) Van Valin, Alice (Tim) Van Valin Dionne, and Bob (Andrea) Van Valin; cherished step-grandfather of Matthew; loving son of the late Thomas and Patricia Mark; also survived by other loving family, friends, and colleagues. Dr. Mark retired after many years as a geography professor at the University at Buffalo, where he was awarded the status of SUNY Distinguished Professor. Relatives and friends may visit DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst, on Saturday (October 1, 2022) from 11am-12noon. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 12 noon, followed by a reception at 2pm.
