Four of UB's Communication faculty were named; Melanie Green, Professor & Department Chair, Thomas Feeley, Professor, Janet Yang, Professor and Arthur Raney, Professor.

This award is given to up-and-coming scholars, as well as earned the individual acclaim for their work, which could be a published work or other scholastic or artistic endeavor. 

A UB researcher has received a $2.7 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health for a five-year study that explores the relationship between inflammation and social media use and their possible link to depression in vulnerable populations.

The Art of Research competition seeks to provide a stage for researchers from all disciplines to make their research accessible to broad public audiences.
