An article by Lecturer Joanne Slutsky was recently published in the Journal for Excellence in Business Education. Slutsky, who teaches Business and Professional Communication courses for the department, co-wrote the article "Business Writing Strategies and Guidelines for Preparing Effective Memorandums." The article focuses on writing strategies for teaching college students the basics of business document composition within introductory business communication courses to assuage the complaints of employers that college graduates lack the ability to write clear and concise business documents.
