Bio:
Kevin Leary is an arts manager and professional theatremaker. He holds a master’s degree in Theatre and Arts Management (Interdisciplinary Studies) from the University at Buffalo. Prior to returning to the UB Arts Management Program, he served as the Managing Director at Theatre of Youth, where he led multiple strategic initiatives resulting in over 25% increases in audience attendance, fill capacity, and revenue over his three year tenure. He is interested in theatre management models and data collection/analysis methods in support of arts engagement strategy. He has also worked as an actor (AEA), choreographer, stage manager, theatre director, instructor, and producer. Among his notable projects are National Tours of The Music Man, 42nd Street, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and, locally in Buffalo, directing acclaimed productions of The Glass Menagerie, Lend Me A Tenor, and Godspell.
