Get Experience

Are you hearing “you need to get some experience?” Get started by deciding what type of experience you are looking for.

Types of Experience

On average, 97 percent of employers hire interns each year.
One person can make a difference. Want to volunteer? Possible.
Observing a person in a job, seeing the work environment and experiencing job tasks will help you see if a career is right for you.
Led by a career counselor, this small-group cohort is specifically designed to help second-year students locate and engage in an experience-based learning opportunity such as an internship, volunteer work, a research or student leadership role to build skills and test out your career interests.
Explore your major and career options through the eyes of a student who's done it all!
