Accomplished graduate students in the School of Management receive fellowships through this fund.

This fund provides awards to benefit graduate students pursuing a graduate degree in UB’s School of Management. Awards are given based upon a student's academic accomplishments, as well as their performance as a teaching or research assistant.

Specifically, awards are made to attract or retain promising doctoral students, promote diversity among doctoral students, and recognize academic and scholarly accomplishments. Recipients of this fellowship are selected by the Dean of the School of Management.

The fund, which has helped dozens of students in their academic pursuits, was established by M&T Bank, Mr. S. Arthur Lowe, Dr. and Mrs. Howard Foster, and Dr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Alutto. Dr. Alutto was Dean of the School of Management from 1976-1990.
