Advocacy Institute Endowment Fund

Hayes Hall.

Provide unparalleled opportunities for students to hone their advocacy skills through this fund.

The Advocacy Institute is a multifaceted effort to provide experiences and help develop practical skills in trial and appellate advocacy and alternative dispute resolution.

The Institute, which brings together all advocacy-related programs within the law school, trains our students to be outstanding advocates for their future clients. On its way to becoming one of the top programs in the country, the Institute offers courses, competitions, externships, volunteer experiences, and additional initiatives like our Innocence and Justice Project. The Institute builds on the strengths of our students, faculty and legal community as we work together to cultivate excellent student advocates and litigators.

In order to reach the goal of making this one of the best programs in the nation, funding is needed for technology, programming and travel costs.

Founding Donors of the Institute are: Terrence M. Connors ’71, John J. Fromen, Jr. ‘87 and the law firms of Goldberg Segalla, Brown Chiari LLP, Damon Morey LLP and Phillips Lytle LLP.
