Law School Summer Fellowship Fund

Hayes Hall.

Students gain opportunities to participate in meaningful, career-advancing experiences through the support of this fund.

For students finishing their first or second year of law school, summer fellowships are critical to launching their legal careers. This fund provides crucial financial support that enables students to participate in the defining experiences that are essential to a quality law school education, including externships, public service summer jobs, pro bono projects and competitions.

Fellowships allow students to build their skills and grow their networks. A coveted judicial clerkship, for example, or the opportunity to advocate for justice at a non-profit organization, lets students get a jump-start on their legal careers and position themselves for success. However, many of these experiences are unpaid. Through the generosity of our donors, we can help ensure that our students have access to life-changing learning experiences, while also providing student talent to help our community partners, courts and governmental offices working in the public interest.
