This fund provides critical financial support for our exceptional medical educational programs and research efforts.

At the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, our mission is to advance health and wellness across the life span for the people of New York and the world through the education of tomorrow’s leaders in health care and biomedical sciences, innovative research and outstanding clinical care.

We are proud to offer a broad array of education options from undergraduate programs to postdoctoral training. Here, we train doctors who make a difference, selecting students who possess the intelligence, integrity and personal and emotional characteristics that are considered necessary to become excellent and effective physicians. Our undergraduate, graduate, residency and fellowship programs provide students with a strong foundation, and prepare them to take the next step.

At the Jacobs School, we advance research and discovery to improve health for all. Our research scientists and doctors have made important and internationally recognized contributions to medical science, including patents, discoveries and treatment advances. We advance basic and clinical science, and then translate those discoveries into clinical care that improves health in our communities.
