UB pharmacy school achieves top ten ranking for AJPE published manuscripts

BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has been ranked #9 for published manuscripts in 2019 in the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education (AJPE).

“This achievement directly supports our strategic goal to support and promote faculty excellence in the scholarship of teaching and learning,” says William Prescott, clinical professor and chair, pharmacy practice.

The school's 2019 AJPE Impact Factor also increased by a remarkable 72%, from 1.737 in 2018 to 2.398. The impact factor is a scientometric factor based on the yearly average number of citations on articles published by a particular journal in the last two years.
