Student scholarships, faculty research and other enhancements in the Accounting and Law Department of the School of Management are supported through this fund.

The Professor Ronald J. Huefner Endowment Fund in Accounting honors a longtime faculty member who taught scores of accounting and law students in the UB School of Management.

Established by former students, colleagues and friends in 2010 (the year Professor Huefner retired), the fund honors his distinguished career by providing for student scholarships, faculty research and curriculum development, as well as student activities.

Huefner—one of only two academics in the school to be honored as a State University of New York Distinguished Teaching Professor—infused the classroom with his energy, and many alumni expressed their appreciation for his pushing them through the rigorous accounting curriculum while also playing a mentoring role.

The UB School of Management: Bullish on brainpower. Invested in Buffalo. Committed to leveraging our leadership.
