Support didactic and clinical training for dental students, surgery residents and graduate students through this fund.

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, part of the School of Dental Medicine, provides the full-scope of resident training for residents within the program. This fund supports the residency program, which offers residents independence and hands-on surgical training along with a strong emphasis on academics and evidence-based learning.

Within the program, there is an emphasis on the core principles, as well as experience and training in the broader and more advanced aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. This includes a rich experience in dentoalveolar surgery and intravenous sedation, craniomaxillofacial trauma surgery, oral and maxillofacial pathology and microneurosurgery, among other topics. The residency experience also includes conferences, lectures and seminars, among other initiatives.
