Grandmaster Flash was in the Bronx when it all began. One of the original architects of the musical and artistic revolution known as hip-hop, Grandmaster Flash developed and perfected DJ-ing techniques widely used today. His film Hip-Hop People, Places & Things details his many innovations, offers a firsthand account of the birth of hip-hop, and pays homage to the genre’s musical predecessors.
