Celebrate Homecoming 2024 with a walk down memory lane
It's time for Homecoming and that makes us wonder - When was the last time you were on campus? Had the Athletics expansion started? Was Davis Hall open yet? Did North Campus exist?
No matter when you last stepped foot on North, South or the Medical Campus, you have a lot of memories and a lot has changed. Pete Logiudice, BA '89, Assistant Director for Community Relations, will take us on a virtual tour of all three campuses - featuring key stories from UB's past and showcasing the new and upcoming!
Join Pete to remember UB's past, celebrate it's future and kick off Homecoming 2024!
About Pete Logiudice
Pete Logiudice came to UB in the 1980s as an undergraduate student from the New York City area. And though it wasn’t initially his plan to stick around after graduation, he has — for nearly four decades. Now, as a staff member on Human Resources’ Wellness and Work Life Balance team, he’s so fully enmeshed in the campus landscape that he’s known by some as “Mr. UB” or even "Pete-moji", a reference to the website icon used to promote his walking programs and tours.
Whether connecting with his UB colleagues at Mini Mental Breaks, setting the pace for the employee walking program or guiding new hires on bus tours across the three campuses, Logiudice gets genuine satisfaction from the daily contributions he’s able to make to the university community.
“The tours I give are not only about the history of the university, they’re also about the future of the university,” he says, emphasizing that everyone plays a part in its success, whatever their role at UB.
