About Karen Sharp-Price
Karen Sharp-Price is a Professional Career Coach (CPCC), Certified Veteran Career Strategist (CVCS), Certified Digital Career Strategist (CDCS) and a Certified Human Resources Professional (PHR and SHRM-CP). She owns SharpHR Career Coaching. In January 2023, Karen started SharpHR Women's Career Support Group to create a safe space for women to exchange ideas, give and receive support from like-minded women surrounding their career experiences, and ask for advice about their job search journey. Karen is passionate about assisting individuals with exploring and researching careers, targeting new opportunities, and helping those interested in transitioning into new careers. Karen works with students, new graduates, Veterans and seasoned professionals on their career journey.
Karen is deeply connected to the University at Buffalo (UB), boasting strong family affiliations within its academic community. As a devoted parent, she takes pride in her son's journey through the UB Department of Psychology and the UB College of Arts and Sciences, where he is on track to graduate with dual bachelor's degrees in Spring 2025. Additionally, her family's ties extend further with another son set to commence studies at UB in Fall 2024, pursuing Mechanical Engineering within the esteemed School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). Notably, Karen's familial pride also extends to her nephew, who has successfully graduated from the UB School of Law, and is currently living and working in NYC . Completing the circle of UB connections, Karen's husband contributes his expertise as a mechanical engineer within the UB Facilities department. Go Bulls!
