About Brian Wolfe
Brian Wolfe is an assistant professor of finance at the University at Buffalo School of Management. He earned a doctorate degree in finance from Indiana University, an MBA from Xavier University and a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati. His current research focuses on financial intermediation and corporate finance topics including, banking competition, peer-to-peer lending, crowdfunding and firm innovation. He also teaches a security trading course to undergraduates and graduate students and will launch a FinTech Lab course in 2020. He is published in Journal of Financial Economics and his work has been presented at financial regulators such as the FDIC and Federal Reserve.
