The Young Alumni Leadership Council is an international group of the University at Buffalo’s most active and engaged young alumni who are selected to serve on behalf of the Young Alumni Program, the UB Alumni Association, and the University at Buffalo.  The council actively represents and promotes the on-going mission of UB’s young alumni program through volunteerism and advocacy.

Young Alumni Leadership Council

The Young Alumni Leadership Council (YALC) is a volunteer corps of involved young alumni that assist the alumni team by connecting with alumni and students in the Buffalo Niagara region and beyond. Council membership is a light commitment, and fun way to stay plugged in to the UB Alumni Network. You'll help by assisting with event staffing, promoting UB initiatives to your networks, and connecting with peers in a fun but professional setting. While many of our activities center around the Buffalo area, we have many members that volunteer remotely on virtual initiatives or engage their local alumni networks.

Find out how you can be involved in our Young Alumni Leadership Council by contacting the Alumni office today.

YALC has been great to be a part of as I embark on my career. I have been able to connect with other young professionals, and share experiences on the transition from being in school to working. YALC also gives me the opportunity to provide wisdom to current UB students as they look to enter the workforce.
