For over 25 years Workplace Experts, LLC, has focused on helping clients improve organizational performance through effective workforce management practices and processes. We pride ourselves on being a trustworthy advisor in HR and organizational performance. We have worked with clients of all sizes across most industries and sectors including private industries, not-for-profit organizations, and the public sector. Our clients have ranged in size from 3 to over 3,000 employees including international operations.

HR audits are one of our most popular services. The results of an HR audit help our clients to make well-informed decisions about their HR policies and practices and where there are opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency and/or effectiveness, and to identify any compliance issues.

In addition to HR audits, employee surveys, training, and HR investigations, we offer our clients a variety of collaboration options including providing HR support and HR services as needed to ensure that the HR needs of the organization are being met efficiently and effectively.

Patricia Mathews was recognized as the 2020 HR Professional of the Year by the Sarasota-Manatee HR Association, and has been a recognized specialist in HR audits and compliance training and investigations since 1999. She currently serves on the Board for the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, and was a Board member for the Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, a 2013 and 2014 Sarasota Woman of Influence, and served on the grant committee for the Sarasota Arts and Cultural Alliance. She was the 2011 President of the Sarasota-Manatee Human Resources Association, served on various committees for the Society for Human Resources Management, and co-authored a 2008 SHRM survey on The Use of Competencies in Organizations. 

She has appeared as an HR expert in the media and in major publications and has been a guest speaker locally and nationally.
