Abstract

We use GIS and individual-level data to understand the relationship between spatial, social, and cultural factors in accounting for individuals’ linguistic knowledge.

Orange dots: Sampled individuals who reported being able to speak the Abar language. Gray dots: Sampled individuals who did not report being able to speak the Abar language.
