Overview of CDSE Days 2021

CDSE Days is an annual event, sponsored by the Institute for Computational and Data Sciences, that connects students and faculty from UB and other leading universities and colleges, and local industry professionals with the nation's most prominent scholars of computational and data-enabled science. CDSE Days is nearly a week-long virtual event that consists of hands-on workshops and keynote presentations.

The CDSE Days 2021 virtual agenda includes research talks on timely subjects such as the opioid epidemic, data in sports, and Quantum Computing. Hands on tutorials, featuring presenters from Microsoft, UB, and Intel will also be conducted on Azure Machine Learning, Agent Based Models, and the Intel AI Analytics Toolkit, respectively. A roundtable session featuring former players and management leaders in the NHL will discuss the role of data in professional sports.
