The Daily Health Check has been recently updated to reflect expanding access to vaccines and changes to New York State policies.

Highlights

  • The Daily Health Check now asks for vaccination status. If you have been fully vaccinated (i.e., received all required doses of your specific vaccine make), select “yes” when asked in the chatbot.
  • Vaccine-related fever is now noted as an exception to COVID-19-related symptoms.
  • If you have recently traveled domestically/to and from Canada, or have been in close contact with an individual with a confirmed case of COVID-19, and were fully vaccinated at the time of travel/exposure, you no longer need to indicate risk, and the Daily Health Check will not direct you to quarantine.

If you have been fully vaccinated, congratulations! Thank you for taking this important step toward protecting yourself and the community. But whether or not you have been vaccinated, please continue to observe all of UB’s Health and Safety Guidelines. Wear a face covering, maintain physical distance, practice good hand hygiene, complete your Daily Health Check, test weekly (if on campus) and carefully monitor your health
