Labor Day is Monday, September 7, 2020 and classes and activities will be held.
Labor Day will be treated as a regular compensatory holiday for those employees eligible for holiday time.
- State professional employees that report to work will receive a compensatory holiday to be used at a later date
- State professional employees that request off that day (subject to supervisor approval) will earn and use the Labor Day 2020 holiday
- State classified employees that report to work will receive a compensatory holiday to be used at a later date or holiday pay (depending on election)
- State classified employees that request off that day (subject to supervisor approval) will earn and use the Labor Day 2020 holiday
