The University at Buffalo is committed to ensuring equal access to information that is presented online. As part of this commitment, university web content must be accessible to everyone, including individuals with physical, sensory, or cognitive impairments, with or without the use of assistive technology.

Applicability

This policy:

  • applies to all university units
  • applies to all university websites, with the exception of archived web content, whether they are created, designed, or maintained internally or by a vendor
  • expects that the university community will make reasonable efforts to ensure that online content is accessible to everyone

This policy does not apply to individual web pages published by students, employees, or non-university organizations that are not hosted by the university and do not conduct university-related business.
