Announcements

          Instructor: David Braun, Lattimore 525, (585) 275-8107, david.braun@rochester.edu, office hours Mondays 2:00-4:00.

          Time and location of class meetings: MWF 11:00-1:50 pm, Dewey 2110-E.

          The first paper is due by e-mail at 9:00 am Friday, September 28.

          There will be no class on Friday, October 5 (because I will be out of town) and no class on Monday, October 8 (because of fall break).

          The take-home quiz on use and mention is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday, October 10. Hard copy only; no e-mail.

          The second paper assignment is due by e-mail at 5:00 pm Tuesday, October 16.

          NEW DUE DATE for second paper assignment: 5:00 pm Thursday, October 18.

          The midterm examination will take place at 11:00 am (our usual time for class) on Friday, November 2, in Dewey 2110-E (our usual location for class). It will last fifty-five minutes.

          The third paper assignment is due (for undergraduates) by e-mail at 5:00 pm, Thursday, November 29.

          There will be no class meeting on Wednesday, November 21.

          The second examination will take place at 7:15 pm on Thursday, December 20, in Dewey 2110-E (our usual location for class meetings).
