Health and Safety

Your physical, mental and emotional well-being have a significant impact on your experience at UB. Our responsive, caring staff offer a range of services that cover nearly every aspect of student health and safety — both on campus and off campus — while ensuring that students uphold the high standards expected of them as members of the university community.

Stay healthy with urgent and non-urgent medical care for students — including health screenings, clinics and immunizations — regardless of health insurance.

Get help managing college — and life — by focusing on your emotional well-being. We offer individual and group counseling, self-help resources and crisis intervention.

Learn about healthy eating and stress management, and access a wealth of resources including LGBTQ wellness services, and rape and sexual assault prevention services.

Find off-campus housing, learn how to be a good neighbor, and get tips for working with landlords.

Look up regulations and disciplinary procedures, learn about mediation, and see the programs we offer for advocacy and victims’ assistance programs.
