EVENTS:  Uncrowned Queens Co-chairs Recognized by UB

On Thursday, October 4, 2001, co-chairs Peggy Brooks-Bertram and Barbara Seals Nevergold received the University at Buffalo Star Award for their work on the Uncrowned Queens project.  The award was presented to them during the Seventh Annual University Convocation, UB Center for the Arts.  "UB Star Awards recognize individuals or groups who have made outstanding contributions to UB through their time, talent, and service.  This recognition, given at the discretion of the president in consultation with senior administration, honors efforts that embody the ideals of UB and enhance life in the university community."
