The undergraduate Student Association and the Office of Student Life will open their annual outdoor summer film series June 18, 19 and 21 with screenings of “Oz the Great and Powerful” presented free of charge on the North and South campuses.
Films will be shown on Tuesday and Friday nights outside the Student Union on the North Campus and on Wednesday nights on the Hayes Hall lawn on the South Campus. Screenings will begin at 9:15 p.m. through Aug. 2; screenings after that will begin at 8:45 p.m.
In the event of rain, screenings will be moved to the Student Union Theatre on the North Campus and Allen Hall on the South Campus.
The screenings are open to members of the general public, as well as the UB community.
The complete schedule:
I appreciate the Student Union giving us the opportunity to enjoy these free movies in the outdoor venue with family and friends. Unfortunately, I missed some movies I would have gone to see in June had I known they were being shown then. The schedule needs to be publized sooner. I found out in late June when it was in the online Reporter. Please let us know the 2014 schedule earlier next season!
