Fostering a supportive environment for transgender members of the UB community is the topic of a panel discussion to be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. March 15 in 120 Clemens Hall, North Campus.

“As policies and attitudes change nationally to better reflect transgender individuals — including here at UB and SUNY-wide — it becomes increasingly important that we engage in open and informative conversations about what it means to be part of an inclusive and equitable learning community,” say Chris Bragdon and Sarah Piraino, co-chairs of the Professional Staff Senate’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, which is presenting the panel as part of its Education & Advocacy Series.

The panel will feature both UB staff and community members who will share insights, tips and resources.

Pizza will be provided.
