Patricia Colvard, retired assistant provost
Patricia M. Colvard, a retired assistant provost in the former Faculty of Social Sciences, died Saturday in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a short illness. She was 73.
Born Patricia Jane McGregor in Detroit, Colvard received a bachelor's degree from Antioch College.
She served as assistant provost for social science and administration in the former Faculty of Social Sciences from 1966 until her retirement 1992.
She received the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Professional Service in 1977.
