Junior center Tiffany Bell became the first player in UB women's basketball history to earn a spot on the WBCA Kodak All-American team by making the District 4 team.

Bell is one of only 48 finalists for the most prestigious All-American team in women's basketball by being one of six players named in District 4. Bell, who became just the second UB player in women's basketball history to score more than 1,000 points as a junior, was one of three underclassmen who made the District 4 team, along with Akron's Cheryl Bowles and Tennessee Tech's Janet Holt.

Bell led the Mid-American Conference in scoring at 19.0 points per game and also ranked 10th in the conference in rebounding at 7.9 per game.

The berth on the District 4 team puts Bell on the final WBCA/Kodak ballot for the 10 All-Americans to be selected during the women's Final Four in Philadelphia.
