November 3, 1994: Vol26n9: OBITUARIES: Warren M. Swager, 94, engineer

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Nov. 26 at North
Presbyterian Church, 300 N. Forest Rd., Wil-liamsville, for Warren M.
Swager, 94, who died Oct. 22 in his residence in the Presbyterian
Village, Williamsville. Swager joined the UB Engineering Department in
1949 and served on the faculty until his retirement in 1970.
	A graduate of the University of Michigan, he worked as an
engineer in Pennsylvania, in the steel industry in Youngstown, Ohio,
and for the Armstrong Cork Co. in Lancaster, Pa. He earned a master's
degree in business administration from UB in 1956. 
	Survivors include two daughters, Mary Alison Hopper of
Williams-port, Pa. and Julia Louise of Modesto, Calif.; two sons,
Warren M. Jr. of Sheridan, Mont. and Alan R. of Orange Park, Fla.; a
sister, Clara Day of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.
