"Happy's Nightmare"

This installation by Kurt Von Voetsch and Patrick Robideau is on display through Sept. 27 in the Lightwell Gallery in the UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

"Fifties Flashback: Popular Culture and American Society"

Cultural material from the 1950s—including photo collages, automobile memorabilia and pulp fiction—will be on display in Lockwood Memorial Library through May 31. The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours.

"Alan E. Cober: A Retrospective Afterlife"

An exhibition honoring the life and work of the late illustrator and teacher Alan E. Cober will be on display through May 18 in the first floor gallery of the UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Cober was a visiting professor of art and Distinguished Visiting Artist at UB from 1987-96. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

"Anatomical Art by Vesalius"
"19th Century Botanical Prints"

Reproductions of the famous "muscle men" series by Andreas Vesalius, and print-images of plants with medicinal properties are on permanent display in the Health Sciences Library on the South Campus. Material for both exhibits was obtained via the Robert L. Brown History of Medicine Collection in the library. The exhibits, supported by the Friends of the Health Sciences Library and the Medical Historical Society of Western New York, may be viewed during normal library hours.
